Spellcraft are a veteran band of raw and authentic Spanish black metal rod that has been giving since nothing more and nothing less than the year 1996. After several demos, comes his debut album "Stirpe Obscura" virtually frozen leaving staff through its proposed crude, blasphemous, dark, full sounding old school.
Well now it's the turn of his second great work, "Yersinia pestis" which in my opinion, surpasses his previous album maturity. Despite starting with purely epic air, does not expect the real gale Spellcraft making it clear that these paths can be moved by epic but also much more aggressive edge and sharp. His riffs black metallers leave no stone cold, sounding purely Nordic certain influences of black / death Swedish, choosing rather rapid pace, but not lacking those leisurely moments, dark and sinister, by which the album has a good balance. Honestly, I would say that this is the perfect way to approach an album, providing the right amount of melody and aggression, and grabbing the listener's full attention.
"Yersinia pestis", has a massive artwork, which speaks for itself and has a very accomplished sound, ringing in perspective, aggressive and loud, but clearly enough to pass no detail overlooked.
The truth is that I highly recommend to all fans of true black metal, not miss the chance to hear this "Yersinia pestis" which did not disappoint at all. Aggressive, raw and melodic at the same time, Black metal case.
